![]() ![]() ![]() Jokes from captain and crew are on all levels, so there's laughs for the wee ones and the adults. Budget cuts? Also have a small gift shop - foam swords (large and small) skull bandanas (look out for the free coupons in the Sunny Day Guide and Sea Colony playbook) eye patches, arm bands, etc. Last several years they gave out vests and sashes to wear, but not this year. Not on purpose, just by virtue of the size difference.Īs noted, arrive 20 minutes early to get "pirate names" and face/arm painted - beards, mermaids, etc. ![]() :-) Do be prepared to help the 3-5 year olds get a water cannon when it's time they'll get crowded out by the 6+ crowd. Our three year old LOVED it she started going at 18 months and still had a good time coping the older kids, and now she's like a pro at 3. If you've got an older one (9+) that's kind of "figured it out", do request that they keep it to themselves, as we've had a few louder ones almost ruin it for our son (6 at the time). Kids of all ages (3 and up) will really enjoy it. ![]() Kids will still get somewhat wet, but they alter the trip just slightly so not everyone gets soaked. If it's a bit chilly and damp, dress accordingly - you are on the water. To that end, if it's hot and sunny, wear sunscreen and sunglasses and prepare to get wet. You do need to make a reservation, as there's only so much room (and conversely, they'll only sail with a minimum number). There are several times (usually around 9:30, 11, 3:30 and 5, I believe). Go anywhere but here if you want honest work done on your boat.Although this is Pirate Adventures Ocean City, it's really Fenwick Island, off 54 by Harpoon Hannah's. Instead threatens to file a mechanics lien to have my boat seized if I don't pay the diagnostic fee. Well apparently that was a lie as well because when I came to get the boat today the radar was still in the down position.Ĭarrying on what is clearly a problem from the top down, the owner Mike instead of admitting the mistake they made and acknowledging the problems they caused. I called 5 days later and asked if had been done and he said yes it was up. This woman had walked outside with me and took pictures of the boat with me for 10 mins! I even gave her the serial#s of the engines and outdrives for the warranty, while standing behind the boat!Īdditionally, I had called John in service on Monday July 17th asking that the fold down Radar be put back up to keep it from filling with water. She told me she didn't know my boat was an I/O when she checked it in. The office person who checked my boat in for service then lied to me when I confronted her about not being a Mercruiser dealer. The capper comes when I pick up the boat that they want to charge me $400 diagnostic fee for work that they cannot perform as a Certified Mercruiser dealer. On top of that I am in the back of the que at the new dealer waiting another 2-3 to get my boat serviced. Now after 10 day's with boat stuck, till they opened on Tuesday, I had to take the day off work, burn $100 of diesel, drive 320 miles round trip to pick up the boat and take it to a REAL Mercruiser dealer. I was floored that they had mislead me so brazenly. It was not until after they had my boat for 7 days and I called them that they admited they could not perform the warranty service. Well, Island Watersports is NOT a Mercrusier certified dealer as they held themselves out to be. I was assured each time, by each person they could perform this work under warranty. I told not just 1 person, but 3 people that I was in looking for WARRANTY services on my boat. The service staff mislead me from my 1st call, claiming the were a Mercruiser servicing dealership capable of servicing warranty work. STAY AWAY! DISHONEST AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! BAIT & SWITCH TACTICS!. ![]()
